Our photographs show the connection between individuals and have represented that connection through red string that is intertwined through our subjects’ bodies. In many different cultures, a red string symbolizes the connection between people, regardless of time or place. In “Stages of Mourning” By Sarah Pucill, she represents the relationship between her and her deceased lover by connecting with the photographs. The scene we were inspired by shows an interesting composition of her with a photograph of her lover creating a unique composition of faces. We were inspired by that pose and created images that have similar intertwined compositions between people.
